On this date in 1981, The Danse Society re-released their second single, "There Is No Shame In Death". It was backed by "Dolphins" and "These Frayed Edges" and was offered as a 12 inch record. "There Is No Shame In Death" had originally been released earlier in the year. All three tracks would reappear on their 1983 seven song self-titled mini-compilation. The Barnsley, England post-punk/goth band broke up in 1987.

We're slackers...
We don't update The P5 every day like we used to. So when we slack off, just use the search box up there on the right. Yeah, the red box, that's it. Search The P5 Archives. You'll be glad you did.

'These Frayed Edges' is a great early goth tune. I'm assuming this is going to sound better than my trashed vinyl - thanks!
The whole EP is great, I have it too. The mini LP Seduction is great also.
