The Cigarettes - Can't Sleep At Night

|

On this date in 1980, The Cigarettes released their second and final single, "Can't Sleep At Night". It was backed by "It's The Only Way To Live (Die)". The Lincolnshire, England mod/power pop band disbanded in 1980 without an album.

Well...I think we differ in our opinions here. They were more mod/power pop to me. It's The Jam argument all over again but, with The Jam, I thought they were pure punk early on.
