The Boys Next Door - Hee Haw

On this date in 1979, Boys Next Door released their first EP, Hee-Haw. The five tracks included were "Catholic Skin", "The Red Clock",
"Faint Heart", "Death By Drowning" and "The Hair Shirt". No singles were released from the EP and none of the tracks turned up on another album. The EP was expanded when released on CD and included some 7 inch releases. Nick Cave and the boys would soon change their name to The Birthday Party. The Melbourne, Australia post-punk band, as The Birthday Party, called it quits in 1983 and frontman Nick Cave formed The Bad Seeds.
