Skafish - Disgracing The Family Name

On this date in 1979, Skafish released their debut single, "Disgracing The Family Name". It was backed by "Work Song". Both tracks appeared on their self-titled debut album. The Chicago, Illinois post-punk/experimental band was fronted by the memorable Jim Skafish. They released two albums before disbanding in 1983. They have resurfaced periodically since.
