We're slackers...

We don't update The P5 every day like we used to. So when we slack off, just use the search box up there on the right. Yeah, the red box, that's it. Search The P5 Archives. You'll be glad you did.

Today is Election Day here in the U.S.A. You've got to choose someone. Now is the time. It's up to you. The P5 urges all of our American friends to put down that mouse, step away from your computer, get off your ass, and GO VOTE!

Really disappointing to find this on this excellent blog...

That makes one awesome comment and one awful comment. I guess that neutralizes everything and we can get back to the music.

Sure, so why put these pictures on your blog then? How can you mix The Clash, The Jam, Crass, The Redskins, The Housemartins, The Specials, TRB, The Ruts, etc. with John McCain? It's beyond me...

Weren't the Tshirts neutral though, i.e., one anti-Republican, the other anti-Democrat ? Personally I wouldn't vote for either of them, each claiming they can run the stinking system a bit more humanely than the other, and each ALWAYS ending up puppets of big business, no matter how sincere they may have started out in their youth.

But with all the great links and unknown bands I've discovered here, I don't care too much what else they do on their excellent blog.

I didn't mix the music with John McCain. This was not a McCain ad. Nor was it an Obama ad. It was simply a sarcastic reminder for our American readers to get out and vote. Each t-shirt displayed humorous negativity towards both parties. How "punk" is that?

Keep enjoying the music.

Clearly you've never heard John's early '80s "club" work....

Clearly I should buy myself a pair of new eyes as I didn't see that before (McPain)... Sorry about all the unnecessary fuss then.

No thanks; I'm still recovering from John "don't call me Richard" Ashcroft's, um, stirring rendition of "Let the Eagle Soar".... :D
