On this date in 1981, The Professionals released their fourth and final single, "The Magnificent". It was backed by "Just Another Dream". The A side appeared on their second album, I Didn't See It Coming. The B side did not but was added as a bonus track when the album was re-released on CD. The B side has also been released as an A side earlier by the band. While I Didn't See It Coming was the first album released by the band, it was actually the second album. Their original self-titled debut album wasn't released until much later. The London post punk band was formed by ex-Sex Pistols Steve Jones and Paul Cook. They had originally been called The Greedies. They disbanded in 1982
