Eddie and The Hot Rods - Life On The Line

On this date in 1977, Eddie and The Hot Rods released their second album, Life On The Line. It contained the singles, "Do Anything You Wanna Do" (#9 U.K.) , "Life On The Line" and "Quit This Town" (#36 U.K.). The album reached the #27 spot on the U.K. albums chart. The Essex, U.K. power-pop/proto punk band disbanded in 1981. Bassist Paul Gray left before the end to play in The Damned. The band re-formed a few times since and has been playing live recently.
