On this date in 1982, Cock Sparrer released their third single, "England Belongs To Me". It was backed by "Argy Bargy". Neither track appeared on the initial pressing of their debut album, Shock Troops, but later pressings included both songs. The London punk/Oi! band disbanded in 1978 with two singles to their credit. They re-formed in 1982 after some of their songs found their way into Oi! compilations and they started recording and playing again. The London punk/Oi! band has been on and off since.
