On this date in 1980, Adam and The Ants released their second album, Kings Of The Wild Frontier. It contained the singles, "Kings Of The Wild Frontier" (#48 and #2 U.K. - it was released twice), "Antmusic" (#2 U.K.) and "Dog Eat Dog" (#4 U.K.). The album reached the #1 spot in the U.K. and the #44 spot in the U.S. The London punk/post-punk band broke up in 1982. Adam Ant went on to a successful solo career.
