Haircut One Hundred - Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)

On this date in 1981, Haircut One Hundred released their debut single "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)". It was backed by "Boat Party". The A side appeared on their debut album, Pelican West. The B side was a non-LP track that was added as a bonus track on a CD re-release. The single reached the #4 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Kent, England new wave band released two albums (the latter after singer Nick Heyward went on to pursue a solo career) and disbanded in 1984.
