On this date in 1981, Angelic Upstarts released their tenth single "Different Strokes". It was backed by "Different Strokes (Different Dub)". Neither track appeared on an album originally though both tracks were added to their fourth studio album, Still From The Heart, when it was re-released on CD. This single was a departure from the norm from the Northern English Oi! band in that these were reggae songs. Founded in 1977, the South Shields, England Oi! band is still together.
