On this date in 1977, Slaughter and The Dogs released their second single, "Where Have All The Boot Boys Gone?". It was backed by "You're A Bore". Both tracks appeared on their debut album, Do It Dog Style. The Manchester, England punk band once began rehearsing with a pre-Smiths Steven Morissey as replacement for lead singer Wayne Barrett after he left the band. The band would break up and re-form several times since their start. They are currently together and performing live.
