Joe "King" Carrasco and The Crowns - Buena

On this date in 1980, Joe King Carrasco and The Crowns released their debut U.K. single, "Buena". It was backed by "Tuff Enuff". The A side appeared on both their second album, Tales Of The Crypt, and their fourth album, Joe King Carrasco And The Crowns. Prior to this single, the band was known as Joe "King" Carrasco and El Molina and had a heavier focus on Tex-Mex music, no surprise considering his roots in Dumas, Texas.
