Icehouse - Primitive Man

On this date in 1982, Icehouse released their second album, Primitive Man. It included the singles, "Hey Little Girl" (U.K. #17), "Street Cafe", "Uniform" and "Great Southern Land". The album reached the #3 spot in Australia and peaked at #129 on the U.S. albums chart. The band used to be called Flowers which is the name that they released their first album, Icehouse, under. They re-released their debut album under their new name, Icehouse, with a few minor changes. The Sydney, Australia post punk/new wave band is still intact though they have slowed their musical production.
