On this date in 1981, A Flock Of Seagulls released their second single, "Telecommunication". It was backed by "Intro". The A side appeared on both their self-titled debut EP and their debut self-titled album. The B side did not appear on either. The Liverpool, England new wave band disbanded in 1986. Since 1995, they have performed occasionally.
