On this date in 1981, Fire Engines released their U.S. debut album, a compilation called Aufgeladen Und Bereit Fur Action Und Spass. It included tracks from their debut album, Lubricate Your Living Room and some non-LP single tracks. The post-punk band from Edinburgh, Scotland disbanded in 1981 after three singles and just one album.
