On this date in 1981, Epic Soundtracks released his debut solo EP, Popular Classical. It contained "Jelly, Babies", "A 3 Acre Floor" and "Pop In Packets". Born Kevin Paul Godfrey, Epic Soundtracks was in Swell maps until they disbanded in 1980. He continued in the music industry, playing drums on most of his brother's projects (Nikki Sudden, also of Swell Maps). He died on November 5, 1997 of undetermined causes.
