On this date in 1980, Minny Pops released their second 7 inch record. It was a three song live EP called Live. It contained the tracks, "Mental", "Night Out" and "Dolphins Spurt". "Dolphins Spurt" appeared on their debut studio album, Drastic Measurements, Drastic Movement, in studio form. It also became their third single. The other two tracks did not appear on an album. The Amsterdam, Netherlands experimental post punk band used to be called The Tits. The Tits' discography consisted on one single, "We're So Glad Elvis Is Dead". Minny Pops released four albums and several singles before disbanding in 1986.
