On this date in 1982, Men Without Hats released their second single, "I Got The Message". It was backed by "The Great Ones Remember". Both tracks appeared on their debut album, Rhythm Of Youth. The new wave band from Montreal, Canada disbanded in 1992.

Didn't someone from Voivod end up playing with these guys???
Voivod's drummer Michel Langevin toured and played on their early 90s album Sideways which I've never heard but was apparently 'dominated by processed electric guitars instead of keyboards'. He has also played with Jim Thirwell. I'm a moderate Hats fan but I've only heard their first two albums and early EPs. CN
