On this date in 1982, Joe Jackson released his sixteenth single, "Breaking Us In Two". It was backed by "Target" in the U.S. and "El Blanco" in the U.K. "El Blanco" was "Target" sung in Spanish. The 12 inch version had the additional track "T.V. Age". All tracks except "El Blanco" appeared on his fifth album, Night And Day. The single reached the #18 spot in the U.S. and the #59 spot in the U.K. The Staffordshire, England punk/new wave musician still records.
