On this date in 1978, Spherical Objects released their debut album, Past And Parcel. There were no singles released from the album. The Manchester, England post-punk/experimental disbanded in 1981 after releasing four albums and evidently left the music business. The only news of its band members since the break up is that lead singer Steve Solamar had a gender change operation. He now answers to the name Shirley.
