On this date in 1980, Mental As Anything released their second album in their native Australia, Expresso Bongo. It contained the single, "Come Around". While top 40 success in Australia was not uncommon for the band, they were virtual unknowns outside of their own continent. The new wave band's members hail from New Zealand and Australia. They are still active.
