The Fall - How I Wrote Elastic Man

On this date in 1980, The Fall released their fifth single, "How I Wrote Elastic Man". It was backed by "City Hobgoblins". Neither track initially appeared on an album but both were added to a later version of their fourth album, Grotesque (After The Gramme). The Manchester, England post punk band still records and performs. Mark E Smith is the only original member.
