On this date in 1982, Soft Cell released their second album, Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing. It was a six song album comprised of a few remixes from their first album and a few new songs. It produced the single, "What?" (#3 U.K.). The album reached the #6 spot on the U.K. albums chart and the #57 spot on the U.S. albums chart. The Leeds, England new wave band disbanded in 1984 but has gotten together again in recent years.
