On this date in 1979, The Freshies released their eleventh 7 inch record, a single fronted by I Can't Get "Bouncing Babies" By The Teardrop Explodes. It was backed by "Tell Her I'm Ill". During their career, the Manchester punk/power pop band released several EP's and singles but no full length albums by the time they called it quits in 1982. Compilations of their material were released posthumously.
