On this date in 1982, The Damned released their fourteenth single, "Lovely Money". It was backed by "I Think I'm Wonderful" and a disco mix of the A side. None of these tracks appeared on a studio album, though the first two tracks were added as bonuses to their fifth studio album, Strawberries, on a later CD re-release. The single reached the #42 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The London punk band has disbanded and re-formed numerous times. Right now (I think), they are not officially disbanded!
