Black Flag - Six Pack

On this date in 1981, Black Flag released their third 7 inch record, Six Pack. It was a three song EP with "Six Pack", "I've Heard It Before" and "American Waste" as its tracks. When they released their first full length album, Damaged, later that year, only "Six Pack" was included. The Los Angeles hardcore punk band had seen lead vocalists come and go. On this single, Dez Cadena handled the vocals. By their next recording, Dez moved over to full time guitar and Henry Rollins took over the mic. They disbanded in 1986.

when i caught the name of this blog off of freewave, i had to check it out because it struck a chord. i grew up listening to jeff foss and p5 and became exposed to music that would change my life forever! wow, this is a hell of a find and i'm happy that you folks are giving respect to a radio pioneer and show that deserved much credit than he received. i like what i've seen so far on the blog and hope you guys keep it up! thanks!!!
