Bad Brains - Pay To Cum

On this date in 1980, the Bad Brains released their first single, "Pay To Cum". It was backed by "Stay Close To Me". The A side appeared on their 1982 self-titled debut album. The B side was a non-LP track. The hardcore punk/reggae band was originally from Washington, D.C., but relocated in New York after being unofficially banned from Washington, D.C. clubs after incidents involving the audience. The band broke up in 1984 but reunited in 1986 and has been intact almost the whole waytime since.
