Suicide...again

|

On this date in 1980, Suicide released their second album and, like their first, named it Suicide. The cover was different and the tracks were different and the names of the two band members, Alan Vega and Martin Rev, were on the cover but it was again named Suicide. There were no singles released from the album. The experimental punk from New York City is currently on hiatus but not officially over.

Johnny Teardrop is one of the most genuinely harrowing songs ever recorded. Alan Vega's scream is bloodcurdling!
