On this date in 1982, Mood Six released their debut single, "Hanging Around". It was backed by an instrumental called "Mood Music". The A side appeared on their 1985 debut album, The Difference Is... , but it was a remixed version. The B side was a non-LP track. The London mod revivalist/neo psychedelic band dropped out of sight in 1987 and has surfaced infrequently since. Original members Guy Morley and Paul Shurey had previously been with The VIP's.
