Magazine - The Correct Use Of Soap

On this date in 1980, Magazine released their third studio album, The Correct Use Of Soap. The album contained the singles, "Thank You (Falletin Be Mice Elf Agin)", "Sweetheart Contract" and "A Song From Under The Floorboards". Neither the album nor the singles charted. The Manchester, England post punk band, fronted by original Buzzcocks' frontman Howard Devoto, disbanded in 1981 after four studio albums and one live album. Devoto went on to form Luxuria.
