Jayne County - Rock 'N' Roll Resurrection

On this date in 1980, Jayne County released their first album under their new name, Rock 'N' Roll Resurrection. It was a live recording. The New York City punk band had begun life as Wayne County (and, sometimes, The Electric Chairs) and was fronted by Georgian born transvestite, Wayne County. They would become Jayne County after Wayne's sex change operation in 1980.
