Shambeko! Say Wah! - Remember

On this date in 1982, Shambeko! Say Wah! released their only single, "Remember". It was backed by "A Crack Is A Crack (Theme From Square One)" Well, it wasn't really their only recording...just their only one under this name. The Liverpool post-punk band was fronted by Pete Wylie, who once was in a band called The Crucial Three with Ian McCulloch (later with Echo and The Bunnymen) and Julian Cope (later with The Teardrop Explodes). The band, at various points in their career, was also called Wah! Heat, JF Wah!, The Mighty Wah! and Wah! The Mongrel.
