Sham 69 - Angels With Dirty Faces

|

On this date in 1978, Sham 69 released their fourth single, "Angels With Dirty Faces". It was backed by "The Cockney Kids Are Innocent". The A side appeared on their second album, That's Life. The B side did not but was added as a bonus track when the album was re-released on CD. The single climbed to the #19 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Hersham, England punk band disbanded in 1980 but re-formed in the late 80's and has been on and off ever since.

Thanks,
