Adam and The Ants - Stand And Deliver

On this date in 1981, Adam and the Ants released their tenth single, "Stand And Deliver". The B side was "Beat My Guest". The A side appeared on their third album, Prince Charming. The B side was a non-LP track which had been written in the early days of Adam and The Ants. The single reached the #1 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The London punk/post punk band broke up in 1982 when Adam ditched the rest of the Ants and went solo. Well...almost all The Ants. He retained guitarist, co-songwriter Marco Pirroni.

Beat My Guest is my favorite Adam & The Ants song.

That's a toughie - but I may have to go for 'Fall In'

PS I'm lucky enough to have a copy of 'Zerox' With an early version of 'Physical' rather than 'Whip In My Valise' on the B Side

Physical is my favorite Adam and the Ants song. I saw them in 1981 twice. The first time was at The Palladium in NYC in April, 1981. bands always sounded great there. Physical and Dog Eat Dog were standouts live.

I'm not surprised that the link doesn't work. It is almost a year old.
