On this date in 1981, T.S.O.L. released their self-titled debut EP. It contained the tracks, "Superficial Love", "Property Is Theft", "No Way Out", "Abolish Government/Silent Majority" and "World War III". None of the tracks appeared on an album. T.S.O.L. stands for True Sounds Of Liberty. The Huntington Beach, California hardcore band still performs.

About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement. This blog is a tribute to that show and all of the great music it exposed us to.
Disclaimer: The P5 DOES NOT post music files online.
