The A side appeared on their debut album, Eddie, Old Bob, Dick And Gary . The B side was a non-LP track that was added as a bonus track on a later CD re-release. The single reached the #6 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The English punk band broke up in 1982. Eddie Tenpole (also known as Eddie Tudor-Pole and Eddie Tenpole Tudor) went solo and the rest of the band became The Tudors. Tenpole Tudor, itself, has re-united many a time since.

About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement. This blog is a tribute to that show and all of the great music it exposed us to.
