On this date in 1981, Spandau Ballet released their third single, "Musclebound". It was backed by "Glow". The A side appeared on their debut album, Journeys To Glory, but it was a remixed version. The B side was a non-LP track. The 12 inch version of the single had different versions of both tracks than the seven inch. The single reached the #10 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The London new wave band disbanded in 1990.

About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement. This blog is a tribute to that show and all of the great music it exposed us to.
Disclaimer: The P5 DOES NOT post music files online.
