About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement. This blog is a tribute to that show and all of the great music it exposed us to.

Disclaimer: The P5 DOES NOT post music files online.
We simply link to the many great music blogs that already do.

The Jam - Going Undergound

Any truth in the rumour that Bruce Foxton sent his son to Eton College?

(Think 'Eton Rifles'.)

Better is he sent him to Harrow where he would have been an "Eton rival".
