On this date in 1981, Honey Bane released her second single, "Baby Love". It was backed by "Mass Production". The London punk singer was the former front woman (actually, teenage girl) for Fatal Microbes and also fronted Donna & The Kebabs before going solo. There was no album released of her as a solo artist while she was still performing. She left the music industry in 1983 but has since resurfaced to perform occasionally.

About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement. This blog is a tribute to that show and all of the great music it exposed us to.
Disclaimer: The P5 DOES NOT post music files online.
