Ricky Wilson of The B-52's would have turned 55 today. He died of complications from AIDS on October 12, 1985.

About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement.
