On this date in 1982, The Fleshtones released their fourth single, "Shadow-Line". It was backed by "All Around The World". Both tracks appeared on their debut album, Roman Gods. The punk/new wave band formed in Queens, NY still perform.

About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement. This blog is a tribute to that show and all of the great music it exposed us to.
