On this date in 1981, The Cravats released their third single, "You're Driving Me ". It was backed by "I Am The Dreg". Both tracks appeared on their second album, The Colossal Tunes Out. The Birmingham, England punk/post punk band released two albums and several singles before disappearing after 1982.a>

About: The original Post Punk Progressive Pop Party (The P5) aired every Saturday night on 88.7FM WVHC (now WRHU) Radio Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Back in 1978, WVHC was among the first outlets (public or commercial) in the United States to promote what became the New Wave movement. This blog is a tribute to that show and all of the great music it exposed us to.
