There's a search box up there on the right. Yeah, the red box, that's it. Search The P5 Archives. You'll be glad you did.

Hello, i have to object to the use of the term suicide here, he was depressed and like many others got prozac prescribed, what wasn't known at the time was that the drug barely helps but does alter the mindset, if anything it destabilises the previous attitude of suppressing the causes of the depression. As a consequence of this many that escape supervision can come to a dead end in their reasoning. Taking a tube of paracetamol to shut up the noise in your head probably wouldnt kill you if you were clean, unfortunately with prozac in the body it's deadly.
I consider Billy MacKenzie as one of the (many) victims of prozac.

Best of Luck,

Rho

I'm not that the explanation completely rules out the term "suicide", especially when it is used specifically to descrive ending one's own life, however, the explanation sheds light on the circumstances surrounding his death and certainly removes the connotation surrounding the word. Thanks for the information and...thanks for your blog. It is truly great. For those unfamiliar with it, please check out rho-xs.blogspot.com. You will definitely enjoy it!

Hello Club 80, Thanks for the compliment.
The thing is here that people on prozac cannot be held accountable for their actions as their brain chemsistry is altered which destabalises the old personality, andintroduces a new one which has no grounding, life can become meaningless pretty quickly that way.

btw besides the associates link i have 2 soloalbums on offer 'outernational" and his unfinished last "Beyond The Sun"

Thanks for the clarification, Rho. His death was a tragedy. It is always a tragedy when a person considers their life so meaningless that hastening its end becomes preferable to continuing on.

Thanks for the heads up on the additional albums!
