On this date in 1982, Cuddly Toys released their third single, "It's A Shame". It was backed by "Fall Down". Both tracks appeared on their second album, Trials And Crosses. The London new wave band used to be a punk band called Raped but changed their image to glam and took on the new named Cuddly Toys. They alienated their old fans and did not gather a huge following under their new identity either. Their greatest commercial success was in Japan.
