On this date in 1980, Flexipop made its newstand debut. It was a U.K. magazine created by Barry Cain and Tim Lott and it contained a flexipop record in every issue, usually unique to the issue. The first issue contained The Selecter's "Ready Mix Radio", a dub version of "On Your Radio".
