On this date in 1980, Devo released their twelfth single, "Freedom Of Choice". It was backed by "Snowball". Both tracks appeared on their third album, Freedom Of Choice (though "Snowball" was a different version). The Akron, Ohio new wave band split up in 1991, only to re-form years later.
