On this date in 1981, The Nails released their first EP, Hotel For Women. It was a four song, 12 inch with "Hotel For Women", "Ask The Dust", "Cutting Edge" and an early version of "88 Lines About 44 Women" (which was a different version than the one released on their debut album, Mood Swing, in 1984). The nails formed in Boulder, Colorado but re-located to New York City to get discovered.
