On this date in 1979, The Tourists released their self-titled debut album. It contained the singles, "Blind Among The Flowers" and "The Loneliest Man In The World". In fact, "Blind Among The Flowers", their debut single, was also released on this same day. It was backed by "He Who Laughs Last Laughs Longest". Both sides were on the debut album. The single reached the #52 spot in the U.K. while the album peaked at #72 on the U.K. album chart.
