On this date in 1981, The Descendents issued their debut EP, Fat, (after having released one single in their past). It contained five songs which came in at a combined total of about five minutes. The longest song was "Mr. Bass" which ran 2:09. The shortest was "Wienerschnitzel" which clocked in at an amazing 11 seconds, just longer than it took to say the title of the song!
